The legendary Formula One race in Monaco’s Monte Carlo in 2020 is on May 23 and 24, and motorsports fans aboard Silversea’s Monaco Grand Prix 2020 sailing can immerse themselves into the atmosphere of the Principality’s iconic event through 3 bespoke experiences.
The most exciting and famous Formula 1 race in the world, comprised of 78 laps, drivers navigate through city streets in a clockwise direction, from St. Devote into Casino Square, downhill, past the hotels before the infamous hairpin turn at the Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel. They even soar through the tunnel at speeds of 170 mph (274 kph)! The skill demonstrated as the drivers downshift, negotiate curves, hills, and sharp turns enthralls all who watch. This racing and social highlight of the year-ends with the wave of the checkered flag.
